As reported, Shweta has begun shooting in Varanasi. The film will also feature Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Divyendu Sharma, who are all reprising their roles. Shweta expressed her deep connection to Golu, stating, "Golu is not merely a character for me; he has been a part of my life for years. Experiencing his journey on the big screen is surreal and feels like a dream."

Shweta Tripathi regards Varanasi as her "second home." She mentioned that several of her projects, including Neeraj Ghaywan's "Masaan," the series "Escape Live," and "Kaalakoot," have ties to the city. "This city always calls to me," she remarked, adding, "The warmth of the people, the delicious food, and the love I receive keep bringing me back." Notably, her trainer, Tridev Pandey, is also from Varanasi.
